How to get from Puerto Princesa Airport to Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa
There are three ways to get from Puerto Princesa Airport to Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa in Sabang, Puerto Princesa. The resort is 80km or two hours away from the city center. The most convenient way to get there is to book an Underground River Tour, which already includes a van transfer to Sabang. The two other options are by public van and private van.
Option 1: Book an Underground River Tour, which already includes a van transfer to Sabang
If you’re arriving in Puerto Princesa City on or before 7:30 am, you can arrange an Underground River Tour for that day and request your luggage to be dropped off in Sheridan. This is probably the easiest option as you can save expenses from taking your own trip to Sabang, Puerto Princesa. If you are already in the city center of Puerto Princesa, you can book the tour at least a day before. The van will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Princesa.
Option 2: Take a public van, bus, or jeepney from San Jose Terminal to Sabang, Puerto Princesa
From Puerto Princesa City Airport, take a multi-cab marked “San Jose Terminal”. You would have to walk out of the airport first and wait for the multi-cab just along the highway. Fare is about P14 per person while the travel time is around 15 minutes. Another option is to take a tricycle to San Jose Terminal, which costs around P150 per tricycle.
At San Jose Terminal, you can get on an air-conditioned van, bus, or jeepney going to Sabang. You can check the transport schedule and rates here. Travel time is about 2.5 hours. Please note that some of the vehicles require filling up all the seats before leaving. The most convenient is the van, which is operated by the transport company Lexus. The jeep and bus, however, are also a fun experience.
The public van, bus, or jeep will bring you near Sabang Port, which is the final stop of the trip. From here, Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa is only a short five-minute walk away. If you have a lot of luggage, you may want to request assistance from Sheridan to help you carry your bag from your drop-off point.
Option 3: Book a private van to Sabang, Puerto Princesa
The third option is to rent a private van going to Sabang. The air-conditioned van can comfortably accommodate up to eight (8) people, luggages included. The driver will pick you up from the airport or any point in the city center and drop you in Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa in Sabang. Travel time is 1.5 to 2 hours.
